To the naked eye this may just look like another run-of-the-mill repaint of the '07 deluxe Scorponok, but it is "more than meets the eye" . I modified the transformation to look like the upcoming legends class Scorponok. First I removed the five main body screws and split him in half to rmove the tail and the little connector piece to Blackout.

I then choped off the tail peg and widened the rear peg hole. I Dremeled into the tail, and used rare earth magnets to attach the tail.

Nice! I did soemthing similar a while back, but without magnets. I removed the tail and trimmed the mounting peg to let it pop in and out of its hole. Then I glued the Blackout-mount peg to keep it from rotating and enlarged one of the holes in the tails's lower surface near the base, and used that hole to peg it in place on the aforementioned glued peg.

The result is very similar to yours, exc. the tail lies flush against his back instead of poking out and curling forward. He still has the stinger end above his head as a bot mode weapon, tho.

Nice to see more love for Dlx Scorponok, good job!

I still cant get behind this mold, I think they could have done better if they didnt try to cram in a transformation scheme that didnt happen.

Looks cool!

Personally I really like the movie scorp.

Yea, the transform is rubbish, but that doesn't bug me.
I keep him in scorpion mode most of the time.

When he is transformed I use "Godzilla movie mode".
That is, hands down as feet and the tail is the head.
