Allspark Stockade mods- knees and arm kibble- pic heavy

Come and get 'em, I got yer Allspark Power Stockade mods right here, fresh outta my brain!

I love Stockade, but as my TF sickness mandates, I had to mod him. Had to. I was getting DTs looking at him factory-original. So I came up with two quick easy mods for the big lug to improve his articulation and poseability.

First, his knees. Trim away some of the molded detail on the back of his knee, immediately above the cylindrical joint:

You can go further than I went and get more knee flex, but you might start to lose strength in the part. As shown, this mod lets him get into deeper crouching poses:

OK, next up, the windshield kibble on his forearms. Easy-peasy. Remove the windshield halves, and trim away a bit of the little rectangle of plastic shown here:

That piece is there to let him "punch" open the windshield half when you yank the gray lever back. Cut the rectangle into a triangle and you can keep that function intact, or cut the whole thing off if you don't need it. Up to you. Now look at the cylindrical section of the windshield kibble piece and note the 2 grooves molded in that let it slide onto the pegs on his forearm and rotate. You'll duplicate those grooves about a third of the way around the circumference of that section, as shown above.

Now flip the windshield kibble 180degs and snap it back into place. Voila, forearm armor where before there was but kibble before:

I also tried to give his head some more range of movement, but that didn't turn out so good. More research is necessary. And cutting.

Some "After shots" (I know, I should have "Before" pics, but, as with virtually all my TF mods, I start examining the situation and before I know it, the hobby blade is out and little bits of plastic are flying all around.):

One last tip: make sure your blade is sharp. Sharp blades are actually safer than dull ones, you know. My fingers could tell you some stories... Comments please and enjoy!

Good timing!

I just picked up Stockade on Tuesday, and I'm looking for improvements.

I'm not sure I need the additional leg range of motion, but it is nice to know it is there.

About the arm kibble, do you need to pop the parts and rotate them for the transform?

Can't wait for the head mods, though he prolly needs a new neck post.

Nice work!
