The Energon Pub

Here's a Universe "Insecticon" that I modded into a Bombshell. The paint needs a little tightening up, but I think that he's most of the way there.
I was going to paint the bug-eyes yellow, but they conduct the light so well that I'm going to try dying them.

Very cool! If I were a bigger fan of the Insecticons I'd total swipe that. With permission, of course, so I guess it wouldn't be swiping.

Actually, I'm kind of curious if anyone has done something like this with 'Insecticon' already.

so far I had never seen it done, I wanted to do something similar but had neither the tools nor skill to pull it off. Great job. Seeing yours makes me want to get a second Insecticon and finally give it a shot.

I assumed it had but now that you mention it, I can't remember actually seeing one. Certainly not one with the remolded face.

I like that remolded face you put on it. Very cool.

And since you ask I've seen a few Energon Bombshells around, all with different takes on him. I did one back when Energon was around, except he's not exactly G1 accurate. I tried following the gang molding colors while adding a little bit of other detail. Kind of like if he was in really in the Energon toy line up.
