Combiner using Scrapmetals/Megatron Megabolt

Edit: Well, here's the first drawings of the planned combiner, of which this thread will be devoted to the changes I make to the Scrapmetals and, if need be, my Megatron Megabolt. Original post is now in second.

I have a project in mind, requiring at least two complete red Scraps, I won't say what yet, I'll just say it's a big idea and I think people will get a kick out of it. Anyone got a place that still sells them for reasonable prices? I know I'm late to the show, but hopefully my idea'll be worth it.
Edit: Just bought a red and a yellow off of Ebay. The Red's supposed to have loose joints, but since I mostly got him for his tinted plastic, I'm not too worried. The project in question is a fully poseable combiner, made from a Megatron Megabolt, and slightly remolded/repainted Red and Yellow Scrapmetals. I'm wondering if I should move this to Scratchbuilding since I'm planning on building the rest myself(as I can't figure out a proper body from what's currently available). I'll post some sketches up if people are interested, but that's all I'll have for a while, as I'm brand-new to all of this.

No, as I'm afraid he's just all wrong for the project. First, he's far too small for the scale I'll be working with(we're talking small child). Second, he doesn't fit with the theme I'm working with(Army of crawling battle drones).
Also, I paid waaaaay too much for my Unicron(Energon Black Repaint) to want to use him for custom fodder XD Thanks for the suggestion though^^

IF you decide you want to use unicron I have several for parts. I think I have two or three, bodies complete but missing skirt and wing pieces. lemme know if you change your mind.
