I thought i was finished with classics seekers but i just coudnt resist.
I changed the colour scheme a little, using black instead of grey & a different camo pattern.
Acidstorm was painted with Games workshop Acrylics (mainly Dark angels green & Graveyard earth)
I painted a green G1 seeker about 5 years ago,so i went back & added a few spots of camo to him to give me a G1 Acidstorm too.
Alt mode pics will be up as soon as he`s dry.

Nice. It's probably just me...but I'm getting an Autobot vibe from him. Weird. Still excellent custom. I can't wait for the real Acid Storm.

Wow, he is beautiful. He certainly resembles the Classics toy we'll eventually be getting, but yours has a much better paint job. Great work Spurt!

I love it. Sure looks like my hmw character too! ;)^

Games workshop acrylics you say?
Splendid.

Did you take him apart and clean the pieces first? How does the paint hold up? Does it rub or scratch during transformation?

I love your work man.

Thanks alot.
Yep i take them apart so i have more manageable "chunks" & wash in warm soapy water.
I also always file/sand down any tight joints to minimise any rubbing.
Overall the paints hold up pretty good as long as you varnish them.
I use a coat of spray gloss varnish (for protection) followed 24hrs later by a coat of spray satin varnish (to take some of the shine off the gloss).
