Alright, I see how you did the elbows, but the waist & legs leave me a bit confused. Is the waist just cut & attached with some sort of swiveling hinge? The hips look like they're done in the same way... What'd you do to achieve the knee articulation? Any chance of a walk-thru or WIP pics?

EDIT: I now see that you got the figure through Ebay.

Wan, that is an amazing custom! I love it. It's even better than the one Pepie made when Transtopia was still around. I especially like how you kept paint apps to a minimum. Paint apps aren't a bad thing when it comes to customizing, but it's more amazing when your cuts are clean enough that you only have to paint details.

to methusalen: (sorry if my english is bad)

questions:

1.Alright, I see how you did the elbows, but the waist & legs leave me a bit confused. Is the waist just cut & attached with some sort of swiveling hinge?

ok for the waist...it is cutted direct n u need to grind n adjusted some minor component inside it (make it flat inside)..then i used only small flat triangle hollow media (use for 'cling gadget' behind da painting-wall frame)that's all u need and then with small nuts just attach one side for upper part and the steel to lower part (for sure make it in the middle inside of the body when become to assamble it).it just easy step and just need some imaginations..the swiveling hinge...yes i think it is also suit for that purpose

but for the leg is different methods...i cut it with my own style using hot knife (use gas from kitchen)make some hollow on both joints n insert one solid small steel...but sum works like hard glue hav to applied to sum part...this part i dont know how to explain further...the only rules is u hav to make cutting area to bend or move by not disturbing its "open close" leg methods (to make sure he can transform back)the solid steel must be measure when cutting process occur to make sure it is not over size with the leg

2. The hips look like they're done in the same way... What'd you do to achieve the knee articulation? Any chance of a walk-thru or WIP pics?
i think u can email me...i can giv u detail pic ..(wandereal@hotmail.com)

3. EDIT: I now see that you got the figure through Ebay.
