if youve never used sketchup, it's pretty user friendly... like anything else it just takes a litle practice. you can build models and post them in google's 3D warehouse

i know weve got some badass artists here and id love to see some Heavy Metal War models run rampant in the Warehouse.

I had sketchup, was handy with it. I'll need to get it again.
Very nice byu the way, I'll be using those starter bots.
One thing: how'd you get the organic curves on the dead bots face? I never really could...

the severed head was actually from an earlier project i was working on, it was a skull and a normal human head... i placed the normal head over the skull and scalled it down untill the bone structure showed through.

organic structures are tough. there are several ways to do it, mostly i start with a 2D surface and cut it into a shape... then use the push/pull tool and bring it out just a little, then scale just the surface you pulled. then repeat the process. ive found that with patience you can this technique to build most anything.

also ive found its better to work on a model in small pieces, for example making the forehead one component, and cheekbone another. this way the pieces can be adjusted as needed, as opposed to having a solid block to try and shape.

be sure and post your transformers... id love to see this catch on.
