I really appreciate that. Shockwaves are hard to come by,not to mention I had to destroy a Classics Jetfire, so I doubt I'd make my money back, but I do appreciate the compliment.

You guyyyys! Thank you so much for your comments. It really makes it worth the trouble. Since y'all have been so cool, I'm gonna go ahead and tell ya that the project I'm working on now is recoloring a figure to become Shattered-verse Apelinq/Sentinel Maximus. I can't wait to show off, phase 1, Apelinq. Just you wait!

Thanks again guys. I don't think I got this many comments since I did The Fallen.

How did you customize the hands? I want to do that with my shockwave. I can use universe Treadbolt.

He only has one hand, but it's the same hand that should be on your Treadbolt. I just painted it. The gun hand I used two pieces from my fodder pile to make. When I cut the old fist off, I was careful to leave a nub so the gun could still turn like the hand did. Have fun with it.

I meant the arms. How did you attach them to this mold? It makes him look some much better and more balanced.

Oh, I agree. Jetfire's arms I removed with a dremel. I just kinda cut'em out. Shockblast has screws you can remove in the shoulders. You'll see that there are posts that you can use for the Jetfire arms as well. I think I had to drill out the hole on the left arm a bit. Also, for Shockblasts gun arm shoulder, I added a piece of styrene to the top.

After you cut the arms out, did they fit in Shockwave's shoulder or did you have to mod them to? I've never kit bashed so I think if I do, this would be a good one to try.
Also, if you know of any posts about this mod, let me know. Thanks.

Like I said, I think I had to drill out the left arm hole to make it fit. I hope you have a good dremel. You'll need it for most bashing. Jin Saotome reccomends the Dremel Stylus and I agree. That thing is awesome.

No, you really can't. He's an awesome mold minus the arms.

I would try to buy a junker on ebay, Carbombia, or the Junkion exchange. What was defective about them?

The left arm was assembled wrong. A piece of the right arm was screwed on the left one preventing the arm from bending.

I started on my custom today. Cutting off Treadbolt's arms were a bitch. For the gun hand, did you open the forearm to remove it or did you just cut the fist off? I have some ideas for the gun.

I cut the fist off but I left a nub so that the gun when attached could turn. I comes in handy to position the cord that attaches to it.

That is perfect, best Shockwave based on that mold ever!
And the way you painted that hand lets it look completely different from Jetfire I had to look twice to see that is was indeed Jetfire's hand.
And I see your new sig is fimnished, lol last time I saw that it was still an uninked sketch, it looks awesome!
