extra plastic?

i have seen in some scratch biulds that plastic was added and i have heard that it comes in sheets but i dont what it is called? can any help me find this stuff and tell me what it is called? thanks.

of course its called styrene

they come in 1 mm 2 mm 3 mm and maybe more
its really easy to cut to sand and to glue with CA(super glue )

You can get it at most model car and train hobby shops.

On the other hand, if you need clear plastic, and want about 1.5 - 2 mm thickness, there's always CD cases. And they come in various colors if you buy certain brands, too.

for a while i used to use old phone cards, but CD/DVD cases are good as well.

I use ice cream tubs. It's perfect cos it's easy to cut and comes with ice cream!
