Universe Classics Overdrive

Well, still got a few more detail bits to do on it, including 'cleaning up' the windows, but this is my version of Universe Classics Overdrive.

The head is actually the head from a Robot Heroes Prowl, with a few bits added on from old model kits (on top) and putty (the sides), and the mouth was mostly filled in and turned into a smirk with putty.

I forget where the right hand gun came from, but his double-barreled left hand gun was actually two Spychanger guns glued together, and gaps filled in.

Details will be added next time I break out my paints. :D

I'm liking this concept of Overdrive. Is that Krylon Fusion Flat Black you have there? Can't wait to see the finished product. :D

Actually, it's Testor's flat black.

Most of the paint is good ol' Testor's spray, except the 'chromed' bits were a cheapie can of half-sized spray from Wal-Mart that I thought was normal silver, but looks a lot more like chrome in person. However, the other 'silver' parts like the windshield and that are Citadel paints, and so are most of the other currently extant details.

I like the idea, and was considering attempting the same thing. Good job, great paint apps. I don't like the head though. I plan to modify the stock head when I do mine.

This mold fits the G1 figure much better than Hot Rod.

The right hand gun is from RID Skywarp or the 2 Machine Wars jets that the RID Skywarp mold was taken from.
