hey guys. im planning to use acetone since i stuffd up my transformer but does any one have anytips since i heard that it can dissolve and melt the transformer so how should i use it?

I don't know if there is a good way to use it, . I m not sure about what it will exactly do to transformers but sometimes you need to put a character in a jar with your "cleaning"product over night. I can imagine that the windows wouldn't be translucent anymore if is too agressive.
Some products will even cause plasic to bend or break easier.

If you want to be safe use Isoprophyl. that works quite fast its cheap, and leaves no marks.


If you do use aceton it would be interesting to post eventual problems or unwanted results ...if there are any.
