Classics Shockwave

FINALLY! My own custom Shockwave. I've been want to make him for a long time. I actually cannot take credit for the kit bashing part. I bought this guy on Ebay with the arms already modified and with the tube attached. What I did do was changed the shoulders so that they matched and cut a little piece of the left arm to fit. I also sanded some rough parts. I then took the figure apart and sprayed the figure in Krylon flat black, drybrushed silver, aluminum, and then LOTS of purple. I also found another way of transforming Shockwave into more of a canon and used a piece of the original Shockblast to attach in canon mode. Here he is, my very own Shockwave...version 1.

That's really sweet!

Did you drybrush the purple over the crybrushed silver? I love that purple so much!

Welcome! You could have asked that in it's own thread, but Reprolabels sells sheets of the Autobot symbol from Animated. Just paint over the 'Con symbol, then add the 'Bot one.

First of all, very cool Shockwave! (Better late than never! :D )

Secondly, an Animated Blaster from TFA Shockwave...very interesting. I can't wait to see how it turns out. :)

Amost perfect in my eyes, If only I could add this to my collection. I have to say that this gives enough inspiration to try this myself.

Also great job, this is one of my favorite customs in many years, keep it up.
