okay, so I want to do this guy for a classics custom version of sentinel prime..

But i have no idea where to start from.. any ideas as a base transformer to use for this guy??

well the only ones i can think of are cybertron mudflap, cybertron defense scattershot, maybe tidelwave, and cybertron prime.

you mean energon barricade? Thats a pretty damn good idea actually, especially if you go by IDW designs of sentinel!

Yeap,this is what I mean.I just got a bit confused because this mold was repainted for Universe Onslaught(Combiners Class Bruticus).....

He looks like a cross between titanium war within Fallen, Grimlock and Optimus Prime/Ultra Magnus. The legs and shoulders look like the Fallens, the chest and abdomon looks like Grimlocks and the forearms and cockit/back piece looks like Primes/Magnus'. As to not take from so many, the chest and abdomon(with some more work) could also come from Prime/Magnus. Either way the transformation wouldn't be that far off from the pics. The only problem is that the pics you showed weren't really good for the trailer/rocket launcher. I looked again and I think that a titanium war within Megatron could be used for the trailer/launcher. Just take the arms/treads off and it might work. You could then use them for the front treads of Sentinel seeing as I left those pieces out. Hope that helps.
