TFTM Landmine and ROTF Breakaway

Finally! This guy has been sitting on my shelf unpainted for more than a year. I love how poseable this figure is. Lots of detail on him too. I gave him the black base coat, dry brushed silver and aluminum, 2 or shades on gray and then gun metal with some copper highlights. And now Landmine must fight the all powerful WHEEEEEELLLIIIIEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!! BWAHAHAHA!!!

Ok. I don't know why but THIS guy was a pain! So many little joints and rubbing and the fact that I really had no idea what colors to use didn't help. Here we go, I started with the usual Krylon black base coat, dry brushed silver and aluminum. Then I did the same thing as my Starscream and Bonecrusher by adding brass and then gold. It looked cool but changed my mind and didn't want that so then I made a wrong turn and added grays and thing went down hill from there. I have no idea what happened or what I did but then my gun metal saved the day. The color I used for Landmine. In the end, I got a Breakaway that looks kind of old and beat up. Kind of like movie Jetfire. Whatever steps I used, I have to try that again when I get Jetfire. Anyway, here's Breakaway. Oh yeah, slight mod on the front window. I sanded the inside to allow the haed to pop out more.
