So since ROTF Smokescreen was just a Jazz repaint maybe painting him back as Jazz was a little redundant. But I was too lazy to get my hands on a Jazz figure and Smokescreen was pretty easy to find so there it is. Put down a couple layers of paint before I decided for sure what I was doing. After that put down a base layer of flat black, dry brushed silver, then did the smaller details. By the way this is my first repaint. Would love feedback. Thanks. (Sorry for my crappy pictures.)

That's pretty funny.
A very good repaint none the less.

i was thinking about doing the same with classic treadbolt into jetfire, never did get jetfire.
nice repaint though, looks exactly like premium jazz.

Redundancy, ftw.
Aside from that random point, very well done paintjob.

Hey thanks for all the comments guys. Does anyone have any criticisms or suggestions for future customs? I'm hoping to do all the movie autobots (eventually lol.) Also i just picked up movie SS and Breakaway and i am really looking forward to repainting those two. Any suggestions or tips or advice would be greatly appreciated.

It looks great, all that I'd say would make it look even better would be nice n shiny clear coat. With or without, you have yourself a much better looking Jazz than those of us who bought him in 2007.
Also, for this figure, try unscrewing the doors off his legs. Trust me, you will be more than pleased with the results
