Whoa, that is sweet! I haven't found Sideswipe yet, but can his arms swing out in vehicle form so his blades would look like Tracks' wings?

I suppose this repaint was inevitable! But it works - well done.

I think you can swing the doors out. That way you can still pose the arms.

thanks guys. the underside of his hood/backpack has wing type patterns on them, I thought about drybrushing them white. I might revisist it later. I have a couple of other projects on the go.

Y'know, it just occurred to me: if you put the Reprolabels Tracks stickers on ROTF Swerve, you'll basically be making it into Road Rage, since she's just a red Tracks, complete with all the same stickers.

Love the alt mode.

Robot mode just has a little too much blue for my liking.

The trick is actually finding Swerve. Time to go check Amazon...

Waitaminnit, they're RARE everywhere else..?
*looks at the Swerves shelfwarming his local rural Colorado Wal-Mart; whistles innocently as he grabs an armload and bolts for the register...*
EDIT: LMAO, looks like someone beat me to it...10 Swerves sold in half as many days. At least they left me one...

Yeah, I haven't seen Swerve or Sideswipe (or Longhaul, or Blazemaster, or Mixmaster, or...) here in PA yet.
You want Wave 3 Deluxes, Ironhide, or Prime? Local WalMart and Target have got loads of those.

You might have something here...we've got Blazemasters, Jolts, and Deluxe Dead Ends as far as the eye can see here, actually. Remind me who was in Wave 3 again..?
Backtracking some, ROTF Swerve-as-Road-Rage works better than I thought, since ROTF Gears bears a more than passing resemblance to her partner, Ambassador Crosscut.

Skids, Wheelie, Chromia. We've also got a glut of Interrogator Barricade, Cannon Bumblebee, Ravage and Mudflap.

Awesome!!I'm suprised no one else saw the similarities.I've actually been working on a similar concept for the past 3months;(been rather busy @ work,) but I'm glad to have an idea of what the finished product will resemble. My biggest issue to tackle has been both the face & feet :-? ,but it appears you've solved that problem. I really love your work here;Kuddos man! :APPLAUSE:

Wow this is just awesome, I actually said the other day this would be a brilliant idea to do and you did it! Very good job, paint applications are reminiscent of G1 Tracks and he just looks awesome as an updated Corvette!

There's a Wal-Mart right down the road from my house, and they have a TON of swerves. I've been thinking about repainting one, but I've never customized any transformers before. Any suggestions on what I need?

:D Thanks for the tips man! Sounds like I have most of the stuff I need (somewhere in my closet...) to start except a figure.

You need Long haul and/or Mixmaster? I can't go anywhere here in Colorado Springs with out tripping over a bunch of either one or the other...

I don't think Hasbro will ever do a tracks.. so I might have to try it out. My one horror is the possibility of white paint screwing up like it always does..

The trick: layering. My formula(with GW colors, but Tamiya and Vallejo have the same or similar color shades under different names, there's a chart somewhere): Astronomicon Grey base coat, thinned Space Wolves Grey, 2-3 layers thinned Space Wolves Grey with growing amounts of Skull White mixed in, final coat of slightly thinned Skull White.

Makes the white nice and clean without being too thick.
