I got the ROTF Ironhide figure just to get the new gun and swap heads with my Premium Ironhide. Don't like the gray paint scheme go I put the gray parts to use and sprayed the rest cherry red and silver to give him he G1 colors. I was going to sell him but I like how he looks with G1 Movie Ratchet and G1 Movie Jazz.

No yellow line. I like the solid red since the movie was solid black.

If you don't mind me asking, do you get this good of result just by brushing or do you do an ample amount of spraying as well?

I do mostly drybrushing. This one was a lazy custom because I just used a spray can. I still did the usual masking of parts and I did drybrush silver on the inside panels.

It's nice to see a G1 colored Movie-Style Ironhide. Especially since we've had 'em for Jazz and Ratchet, plus Optimus kind of counts too. There's also Bumblebee to an extent, as well as having G1 colors for Soundwave and Starscream. I hope you'll pull off a few more when you can!

He looks spectacular in red! (I mean, I know we all know that Ironhide is meant to be red, but even his movie form looks truly fantastic in classic colors.)
