Sure, plenty of us have. We just talk about it in the Kitbash Forum.

A mod will probably move this thread there for you.

This is an update of my 1st ever attempt at a scratch built project. I wanted to make it completely out of non transformer related or styrene plastic stuff. Accept for the hands this was made completely out of house hold objects and odd ends you find in a tool shed bin. I'd like to finish it up by adding landing gears & eventually paint it. Please give feed backs and advice. Video coming soon. Thanks again!

That looks pretty sweet, did you make that weapon in the first pic or was it from some other toy? :-?

Some new pictures of the robot with red paint added. Don't mind the smudges. I had painted the shin plates red too but then regretted it and now in the process of removing the paint slowly.

It looks like the gun that came with Cable from Toy Biz's original X-Men line back in the 90's...just to give you a starting point to look.

Thanks! I found the gun loose at a yard sale once but now that you mentioned it, I think I've seen it with Cable before also. Good call!

Finally found some time to resume my homemade transformer /live action movie inspired style, SHOCKWAVE project. Few new parts have been added. Temporary cosmetic torso plate was removed and torso rebuilt with an old tv antenna base bit, along with the bottom of an antiperspirant tube used for shoulders. New nose cone attached for the jet mode. Also as you can see I'm working on a gun for him that's made out of a skin lotion dispenser tube. Still some minor bits to finish along with locating some parts to use as landing gears, before this figure will be painted. Not on par with the pro bashers/ builders, but as a noobie I'm pleased with myself.

Lol Yeah, sorry he's unsightly now with the glue frost and all but hopefully look cool when I get around to painting him purple. Luckily that crack is on the back of the plastic, so it should be covered up. Can't be picky when using junk plastics.

Man that is cool, makes me wish I were more technically inclined. Have you thought about using rivets instead of nuts & bolts to hide the manufacturing?

Thanks that's very kind of you! Yes it did cross my mind to use rivets but I stuck to my original concept of trying as hard as possible to just use junk plastic and ordinary tools, nuts and bolts. I might use other stuff for future projects.
