- ROTF tattoo style THUNDERCRACKER -

I've bought the 2007 Movie starscream molds so I could make them into Skywarp and Thundercracker. The first one that I've finished is Thundercracker. And probably in a way that you haven't seen before:

With a tattoo that is similar to the one of ROTF Starscream. This obviously involved some crazy decal work. painting this by hand would be overkill.

the repaint:

I wanted him to still look like a military vehicle so the red lines I didn't add in vehicle mode.

but I did add some red details in robot mode to make it clear that this is still Thunderckracker.

New color pallete was done with Medium Blue, black, titanium silver, red and light grey.

An extra blue wash and black wash were used for weathering and dirt. Starscream and his compagnons get into battles a lot so I didn't want them to appear too "clean"

Mod changes:

1.Neck joint to add better articulation.
2.New Arms (original from Leader Brawl)
slightly altered to make them fold under the wings better.
3. fully poseable Missle lauchers

The transformation is a bit different than the one hasbro suggests, but I did this because I want Thundercracker looking a bit different than Skywarp. Nothing was customized to do this. It is just me doing the transformation a bit differently.

my that is VERY pretty.. Fantastic job Flix!! Leader Brawls arms look right at home on that mold, I especially like the alternate transformation you've gone for to!! Keep up the outstanding work!!

Great custom work and, wow, Leader Brawl's arms look great on the 2007 Starscream mold.

The arms work but I can't believe you destroyed such a great figure to do this!

I really like the paint scheme - a realistic blue rather than his original electric blue.
