ROTF G1 Shockwave! (In Progress)

I'm really excited about this one, I just had to post my progress on him so far!
I used a ROTF Sideways for him, I just thought the body characteristics seemed very Shockwave-ey from the start.
As you can see, the head is a sculpt from scratch, the left hand was taken off and replaced with his cannon, hose added....
Saw blade taken off right arm, thumb and palm added....
Image

As you can see, he's still got quite a bit of work left. His taillights are missing, (need to be painted and screwed back in).
His windows need to be lined properly with silver, his grill needs shading in the cracks....Also a lot of detail work to do on his gears etc. He's also got a dab of purple paint on his wheel! Whoops! And after all that he'll need a gloss coat to really shine up that metallic purple!

I'll show him off again when he's done, maybe with his older brother (an earlier attempt that I have named Shockwhoops.)
Any suggestions while I'm still working on him would be much appreciated!

:APPLAUSE: Shockwave is one of my favorite characters, love the original head sculpt. Will there be any LEDs in him? like for the cannon?

LEDs?!! While I've done my share of custom figures, I'm afraid that the lights and wires technology is far beyond me.
Maybe if I'm feeling brave enough one day, I'll give it a try!
