Attempting to make a better ROTF Prime/Jetfire combination

I finally got Jetfire the other day. I mostly got him to combine with Prime, since his robot mode isn't all that great looking and his alt mode looks great from above but has a flippin robot hanging down from it.

I combined him into the super awesome mode or whatever Peaugh called it on youtube. I liked it, but the bulk of battery pack behind the legs kind of bothered me. So I decided to see if I could disassemble Jetfire and make it look better.

I removed the pin that holds the lower torso to the upper torso and cut the head LED wires in an easy spot for reconnecting later. I then took the legs apart at the upper thigh/hip and left the hips on the lower torso, and the upper thighs on the feet. I also removed the hands and wrists from the arms. I fiddled with taking Jetfire's head off, but it kind of left an open spot so it remains.

Parts I removed.

I kind of want opinions. I'm caught, in a way Prime is now more poseable and retains much of the look, but in a way his legs look kind of thin now.

Opinions? Keep the mod or throw Jetfire back together to give him some dignity?

I say put him back together. It doesn't do the CGI model justice, but then again, he IS a Bayformer :D

It seems like lots of work for little gain. Putting him back together and trying to improve JF's bot mode might be better.

Well you've already gone so far. Keep it as it is and try to keep improving it!

Mayb you could take more bits off and attach them to the legs somehow. You may need to add magnets or ball joints for that.
