Here is my latest custom. He is a new addition to my Green Team that I have been working one. It started by accident when I first painted Universe Dropshot, and then Roadbuster, then Acid Storm, and Countdown. I decided to add one more member to the team and decided that they be a team of mercenaries. Here he is in jet mode and bot mode and jet mode again. There's a little something on his back...


THIS is my fully armored and powered up Mercenary Treadbolt. DO NOT **** with him. He is the fifth and final member of my Mercenary Team previously my Green Team.

Did the usual Krylon flat black base coat, dry brushed 3 shades of green, copper with some reds.

The best part for me is I actually did some bashing! I took the missiles from the Universe Dropshot that I used to make my Classics Soundwave. Poked two holes underneath and attached them to Treadbolt's backpack. I took the original thrusters of figure off and used the center piece and modified it to hold the Dropshot missles. Poked two and stuck some Neo Shifter pegs through. I also used some extra Dropshot missiles to cover up the side holes from the missing thrusters. All of the pieces can detach to have a simple unarmed Treadbolt or you can swap parts and arm the hell out of him. I am very proud of this custom.

That whole group looks amazing.

Great paint work and I love the mercenary concept behind the colour scheme.

I'm not really a fan of the any of the molds, aside from the seeker mold, but your work is solid and the whole group DOES look awesome together.
