The Energon Pub

It's been a long time since I posted anything here hadn't been working on much for a while (well I did do Energon Megs into Galvatron but figured you had seen enough of those).

This is probably my most extensive bash yet a classic/universe scale Mirage made mostly from a Robot Heroes Mirage and an F1 model kit.
First I have to give props to wan_de_real whose excellent Mirage bash inspired me:

Hasbro did a great job on classics mirage and I don't think this is a good as that but I had Robot Heroes Mirage kicking about and wondered if I could bring him up to a standard that displays well with my other classics figures.

Ok now the pics, still allot of work to do, i have the basic two modes figured out but they look a bit sloppy in places, especially the vehicle mode. There is a fair bit of detail and gap filling to do and the whole thing is yet to painted.

The legs are from Powerlinx Energon Prime that came in the 2 pack with Megatron, I hated the legs on that figure but on this I think they work pretty well, the head is made from the original Robot heroes head and parts from the f1 kit.

Just a quick update on my progress.
I have added side panels on the arms cut from leftover bits from the F1 kit to add to the G1 look and covered the gaps in the arms and his original hands.
I have also added new hands from a generic robot toy thus makings his arms longer which I'm hoping will make him look less stocky

as you can see in vehicle mode he is still quite gappy, loads of work left to do on this guy and still some decisions to be made so all feedback is welcome
