WIP Tracks
Posted: Sun Nov 29, 2009 9:00 pmI mentioned I was working on Tracks when I got sidelined by the idea of doing a 'falling apart' Bumblebee, and i just finished up his paint, so I figured I'd show the Tracks I have thus far.
Tracks' feet are currently on my kitbash table. I'm taking a page from my G1 Tracks (who has the backpack/missiles seperate from the main body of the car) and Each of Tracks' feet will clip onto the side of the care-mode to create the thrusters and I'll likely give him missles that can clip onto his thruster-feet or his shoulders (not sure if I want to spoil the lines of the chest area with missiles yet)
I had a spare Sideswipe and a spare Swerve, both of whom are really common in the toy-stores right now, so Tracks had an even amount of donations from both donors.
Testors' metallic blue is lovely, although my rather poor camera still means I can't take the best pictures. I'm planning on ordering a set of Tracks stickers made for the Sideswipe mold from Reprolabels once I finish getting everything together... though I'm going to experiment on painting the flame decals on the Sideswerve that has the other half of the parts that Tracks didn't use
