Better late than never I guess, but I still needed to share this repaint here.
I simply couldnt find the time... I bow my head in shame.

Rampage's new features are:

o wrist joints / elbow movement
o individual leg movement
o extra hip joint
o Stands without help of the backpack

It took me about four months to wrap this one up , making it work and painting it. ( Not 24 -7 of course )
This is obviously a complete repaint, the main color is the type of orange used on most construction vehicles, although caterpillars are usually yellow I think.
Ive seen a lot of red repaints of Rampage but personally I like this orange better, it feels more accurate for a bulldozer. I have never had the pleasure of seeing a red bulldozer although I'm sure they exsist.

All the small parts are in different shades of grey, silver and black

I applied three different washes, so everything blends together better.
Black = bring out the details
sandbrown = making him a little pale
brown = making him look a little dirty without trying to overdo it (i wanted him to feel used but not muddy)

I drybrushed with silver, grey , an a lighter type of orange to scratch him up.
this might not be visible on the pictures very well because of the size here. checkout the detail of the logo and you know what I mean.
I think it is important not to make the scale of your scratches too big it makes the model look smaller. the drybrush layer was done with old / crap brushes they usualy give good scratch results.

The vehicle mode gets a 4 /10 for me ,
Parts that stay loose and annoy, usseles parts, his ass that doesnt close right, all that crap on the side of the threads... it just smells like bad designing. For me the transformation of Rampage is no fun. I don't plan on transforming him a lot in the future.
The transformation does still work after all these tweaks , but ... Personally I would not recommend this tweak to someone who likes to transform him, It does make transformation even harder. And some partsforming might be nessecary...

anyhew, I am aware that he is jumping around on one leg in the movie, but as they gave the toy two legs for some vague reason, I decided early on to go with the legs.
I actualy started modding him before I had seen the movie so I didn't know he never would actually use his legs.. so don't give me crap about the fact he isn't movie accurate :-B . I don't care about that.. hope you enjoy

those flaps on the back of his legs fuction as heels so he can stand without help. he actually can stand up if you only use one, but two is even more stable.
The shade might be misleading but I assure you this works. Btw I think this works in PogoStick mode as well.

Nicely done! I like the color, and I love the CAT logo on the back.
How'd you do the flaps on his ankles? I'm working on Classics Thundercracker and Skywarp now, but Rampage is on the list for some work (I've already done Matt Booker's mods, but now it's paintin' time!)

Another superb repaint, the flaps ook like they are from the upper legs that are there for no reason, Good Luck On Sideways I'd like to see what you could do with Leader Starscream and Recon Ironhide and Lockdown.

My gosh! Unbelievable, looks magnificent! The 2 extra legs at the back of the figure really bothers me and I'm glad to see one without it. nice job done!
