I was always disappointed with the Classics version compared to the Henkei version. However, now I have customized my own Classics version to be slightly more G1 accurate by adding more metallic parts and a silver face over the original blue one. It's not exactly a G1 repaint because I changed some things to be more to my personal liking. I am very happy with how it turned out and I will eventually paint on a yellow stripe as well.
