He has you in his sights...Introducing...Shadowburn(WIP pic heavy)
Posted: Wed Feb 17, 2010 8:41 amOk, well I haven't come up with a name for him quite yet and I'm still working on a color scheme, but here is a "little" project I've been working on for about the last week.
While going through my collection and looking at the stuff I can thin out from it, I came across my Terrodive figure missing one of the jet nose sides/claws. Got thinking "Now what am I going to do with this" when it hit me. If you turn him over and remove the wings he kind of looks like a targetmaster gun. So I started cutting, gluing, and sanding. Removed the head and added a ball joint in the neck, added articulation to the shoulders, and gave him articulated elbows.
What I start with.
The new arms(well one of them anyway).
Ball socket in place.
Modified head.
Showing the head articulation.
Improved articulation in all its glory.
After a long aggravating process, I finally came up with a weapon barrel system that both looked good to me and didn't interfere with the transformation.
Pretty much done at this point.
He is going to be a partner for Nemesis Prime, but he isn't here yet so Optimus is standing in for now,
but he is a Decepticon threw and threw.
