So, the idea for this came after my bro bought the Nest battle pack. I noticed that the Soundwave in that pack was really supposed to be the Soundwave in the Gathering at the Nemesis pack. Then, I noticed that the Soundwave in the GatN pack was really supposed to be the Soundwave in the RoTF game DLC, sorta. I think it's actually the other way around.

Anyway, so then I decided to recreate that DLC Soundwave in toy form. So I picked up a preview wave Soundwave, bought some new enamel paints, and got to work. On the first day of work, I met a problem no man or woman should ever have to face.
I split blue paint all over his wings.

I was so pissed that I almost gave up after about twenty minutes of work. Then I was introduced to my new best friend: Cupran. It's this gentle paint remover for your hands. It worked perfectly for removing the spilt paint and cleaning my brushes.

So, after a week of work, a three week hiatus, and a few more days of work, I finished Soundwave just last night. Here he is:

Pics are kinda wonky. If anyone wants me to, I'll try to take better pics.

Very nice work JPG. I like the detailing and the colours you've chosen :)

I think it MIGHT look good but the pics aren't good enough. Get better lighting. I find lighting a figure with bright lights from two or more sources is good. Failing that, a south facing room on a sunny day but with the figure not standing in direct sunlight. Have the lights on as well.

Well, I tried to take some better pics.
Some are still a bit fuzzy, but overall I think they're better:

Since the paint is dry, I was finally able to transform him:
