Classics Soundwave 3.0

This is my Classics Soundwave 3.0. It's almost identical to the Charity Soundwave. The only real difference is the hinge used for the cassette door, trimmer cassette door, the shoulders details, neck piece, and a little less paint detail. This one is mine.

This also has the laser pointer canon, cassette player mode, and Cybertronian lamp mode.

The hinge that I used for the Charity Soundwave allows it to open wider than the one I used for this one.

I used the same exact paints on this as the Charity Soundwave so the only difference is the photography style.

AWESOME work! I think I like this version better than the charity version that you have done! :APPLAUSE:

They are actually 99% identical. I used the same shade of blue for both versions. The Charity pics came out brighter.

Here is a video of my Sounwaves.

That just looks awesome. What figure did you base the custom on? Is it Universe Dropshot?

Yes, it's was Dropshot. I mention that in the video.

Wow! That's amazing...I saw it on TFW(Why are there so many customs there? I should really just make an account there already...anyhow...) and it's awesome! great rendition of SoundWave...are you planning to make the Cassette-icons as well?

You've just GOT to get some LED's for that lamp mode. But overall, great use of the dropshot figure. I'm only disappointed in the chest. The universe mold for soundwave and classics blaster had those goofy hexagonal versions of the cassettes that I didn't care for much. Do those things fit in your modded chest? I would have tried to go for a micro cassette version or something. Otherwise it's perfect. It just doesn't seem soundwave if you can't incorporate the whole "Tape in chest" thing.

This is a step up from my original which had NO chest thing. I have a cassette but it's too big to fit.

Now, you should see Ryan Uybengkee's version. He took my idea and ran away with it.

Ah dang, the cassette's make him all that more awesome!
Ryan Uybengkee made a version? O_O
All of his work is great, much check that out NOW.

If I ever get into customizing(which I hope I will) and build a neo G1 thing, I will definitely follow your example...
With your permission of course.
