here is bumblebee reshelled into a 1/24 scale mini copper. He was made from a classic bumblebee and a few bits and a mini model.

I like it. The first shot was kinda deceiving.. it looked like his shoulders were stuck in the rear wheel wells on the vehicle and didn't quite come forward to his torso, but the last shot looks a lot better. The front of the car being split like that makes him a bit bulky, but I hate the idea of "robot feet" on figures and your guy really has a Hasbro feel to him PLUS added articulation.

I really like it. I saw a micro car at my local drug mart and thought of bumper and they've had $9.99 VW models there for a while (clearanced) that made me think of bumblebee. I keep getting tempted to buy them, but then I remind myself I'm not that big of a bumblebee fan that I want the figure. It's really hard to find model kits around here. Even the hobby shops don't carry a lot of stuff and their prices are no better than Ebay even with the shipping. Older stuff is especially hard to find. The bigger retail stores like wal-mart and kmart quit carrying them so really outside of craft stores, drug mart is the only retail store I've found them at, unless you want to gut like a replica vehicle like you'd find in the hot wheels aisle.

Actually, I take that back. It's actually pretty good. But seriously, why did you use a Mini Cooper?
