War for Cybertron Wheeljack Statue - UPDATE

I decided to put together a non-transforming statue type figure based on war for cybertron styles. I looked at the random bits of whatever I had laying around and started WFC Hot Rod...and now I feel like a idiot cause there already is one on the ds version! Now he is WFC Wheeljack (I'll be pissed if he was designed already too cause I looked!)Anyway Here are some progress shots I wanna get some feedback on. When he's finished he will have a clear windshield-like part over his torso (I justify this by calling it transparent experimental armor he developed) and the hover wheels of course. Might redo the head sculpt too

UPDATE - Added a few in progress shots of paintjob. I am literally doing this model without buying anything and since I didn't have red or green paint I have improvised with random stickers

Maybe you could do one of the Stunticons or Dark Hot Rod?

Hmm yeah the stunticons have enough sleek bots to be a possibility...and somehow I didn't even consider dark hotrod...hmm....

Thanks! Well Wheeljack's feet are now completely comprised of parts from the car model I used, but when I was using the bionicle feet for hotrod they worked great. They have enough weight to them, and are shaped in a way you can connect them easily. While Wheeljack was composed on the fly of whatever I had, I do plan to finally make a transforming bot using bionicle joints and pieces sometime in the future as they are strong enough to hold a tf in various extreme poses. I would like to see how your tf comes out as well. My first non-transforming kitbash was a ford gt that came out looking alternator style followed by movie Skywarp (which I made a day after the 2007 movie debut, so not accurate lol)

sweet,so my 1950 chevy is made from every piece the model came with not pose-able what do you suggest i do,strip it down and start over...doing all of the joints and what not,or just keep going with the statue, its not comic style so the legs arnt full like your wheeljack(btw is that a speed racer car you used if so freaking awesome)they are more skinny i used the chassis from the truck to make the legs along with the side step and rear wheel wells i need this finished its been a year i procrastinate some times and im trying to take action and do you have any spare parts laying around i could use?

I wish I did I almost didn't have enough! After this project I will have to start buying stuff and that will force me to PLAN things out lol. As for the tear down and re-buil I wouldn't if you've made any progress with it. It would change everything just to make him an action figure a lot of parts would probably need to be reshaped. I would finish it as it is, then use it as a model to start fresh and try a more complicated version. As for the car model I used the torso is some dollar store thing I found. The white car parts are the Ferrari Testarossa from miami vice. I would like to find a speed racer and convert it (I missed my chance at a knight rider). Oh and I do the same procrastination thing.
