Hey guys,
I think I'm going to try to make my first custom, but I'm not really sure exactly what to use. If someone could give a suggestion of paint brands and other molding/customizing equipment I would be forever in your debt.Plus, any tips would also be great! Thanks!

Every month or two someone asks this. All you need to do to find you answers is scan through this forum until you find some more threads on this topic!

I see Testor's paint bandied about frequently, and they seem to use it at Botcon's customization classes, so I imagine it must be good. The only tips (gleaned from here) I can give you on painting are; Wash the figure in question with soap to remove any traces of mold releaser, and gently/lightly sand the toy's parts before you paint so that the coat will stick better.

Sorry if this is a dumb question, but do you just paint with a brush, or is it best to use an airbrush? Or do you use spray paint?
