I'm currently working on the ROTF set, so that all the combaticons look the way they should with the fans project set. Here is Vortex. Sorry for the 'artsy' pic, it's because I mostly post on my DA page http://hinomars19.deviantart.com/galler ... er-customs

I don't have a pro camera either, so sorry for quality-if people take interest then I shall take better pics of all the set (go here for Brawl http://www.seibertron.com/energonpub/-g1-brawl-for-fans-project-set-p1133679.php#p1133679

sure! (as long as it's not over or undersized)

I don't think a tutorial is quite possible for Vortex and Brawl-sorry :-( , but once everything is finished I'll try and take some good pics to try and show what I did ;)
I will, however, be posting a tutorial for a Bruticus chestplate, as it will be very simple and I can make the tute as I work.

:D

i think i figured out how he modifed vortex

he went and moded the figure main rotary assembly in such a way that it is instead rotary hinge attached to the cokcpit nose cone sectiojn of the hilicoptor which itself formths the chest of the original robot mode so that the main rotary assembly could rotate forward into place over and on top of the helicopotors cockpit half so that in robot mode the original robot mode back would instead serve as the front of the body for the modified robot mode with the entire nose cone cockpit section of the hilicoptor folding down onto the figures back which would normally serve as the front of the original robmot mode

quite genuis really and a very nice improvement over the orignal desing and transformation

YUP! that's pretty much it.
Although, it's probaly not something anyone is looking for, but the head section had to be completely removed, the original gestalt connector taken out, and a brand new hinged piece fitted in it's place for the head to rest on, since the modified head no longer fitted into it's original alt mode position, AND it was raised too high, so it gave proportion problems to the new mod
