Greetings fellow transformer Fans, I Decided to make a big Goldbug, I got my inspiration while collecting every Bumble bee mould out there, I realized we only had Two and a Half Goldbug toys, Throttle bot, Shattered Glass are the Two, the Half is the g2 Bumblebee yellow chrome repaint... it's classed as half because it's still named Bumble bee. I've seen hundreds of repaints of movie bumble bee, a few classics BB but No Classic Beetle Kitbashing etc, so I decided to make a Proper Goldbug which requires a VW! I found a Knock off Oversized BumbleBee, got the large Wheels and a head from another oversized Knock off Brawn Look-a-Like. together with some gold spray and various acrylics I set to work! at the Same time I decided to create a WST goldbug, I have seen this done only once before - it looked great and even was a throttlebot and transformed exactly the same way! the guy actually modified a wst BB - amazing - Unfortunately I don't have the knowledge to recreate a throttlebot that small so I will stick with a repaint this time! here are both of my custom Goldbugs. Total Time to bash + Paint = 2 days .... David & Goliath. I encourage any questions or feel free to comment!
