G1 Prime **Dead on the table**

This is a G1 Prime that I have used to recreate what I think was the most devastating turn on transformers history the death of prime... transformers for me were never the same
Here is Optimus Prime as seen in the first Transfomers Movie
where he hands over the matrix of leadership and turns colorless and becomes sparkless :-(
I have made a resin casting of primes G1 blaster and G1 hands, the blaster is sealed in a small shadow box.
I also made a set of grayscale decals to really finsh this recreation of primes death...

That's pretty awesome actually.

But, I have one correction.

His name was Orion Pax and it appears that says Orion Pack.

Other then that, it's pretty freaking sweet

I have to give you props... I've seen other pictures of "Dead Primes". I know I've seen the one linked to, and now this one blows me away as well...

That is one of the saddest moments in TF history (I know I cried in the theater when I was 6!), and this figure is amazing!

I have one question though, do the chest doors close? Could you 'recreate' the whole scene with your own figures?

That first Prime inspiered me to make something similar with my G2 Prime.
It's not a dead Prime but a F.up Prime.
I figured befor I trow Prime away I make something with it.
It's still WIP (since a year ore so).
Wen it's finished I'll post pics of it.

Poor guy. The figure has a strange feeling to it, like its a monument to a hero or something, which i guess it is. Funny how we can get all emotional over a character that never exsisted.

What would be the ULTIMATE dead Prime though, would be a MP Prime painted and damaged like this. The G1 figure just lacks the detail and shape, where as the MP figure is perfect.

Great job though.

No different from using a perfectly good G1 figure.

Yeah, 'cause it's really hard to find a battle damaged 1984 G1 Prime on E-Bay. :P

What i ment was buying an MP prime is just as much as buying a good G1 Prime.

I wasnt referring to how the finished product looks, i was talking about what figure to use.

It's a shame I don't have that 20th Anniversary figure that had fallen off of my shelf... The only thing that'd broken on him was one of the flaps with the headlights on it... Too bad I'd shipped it down to my sister's (now ex-) boyfriend in Florida...

*sighs*

Well that Prime I'me using cost me a pound, is incomplet and has all theas flopy joints.
Oh and no roler, gun, fists and a dameged trailer.

No different from using a perfectly good G1 figure.
