Skyfire

This is a very simple repaint. For a robot that's traveled across galaxies in his quest for knowledge he seemed rather too clean so I covered him with a dirt wash then added bright red lines to his guns (all real scientists carry laser guns) to resemble glowing energy.

Holy ****, I really need to check out your work more often. Once again, amazing doesn't even do that justice.

LOL, thanks but it's not a difficult or imaginative one! I update my sig whenever I update that site so it's easy to keep tabs on my work. I've got a few more galleries to post over the next couple of weeks.

Nice work Myk. I always wanted to get into washes and such, I always go for clean seemless paint jobs. This also inspires.

I did some similar panel lining on mine (I just used a Sharpie though), but the red glowing "energy" on the guns looks really awesome!

Slopping paint on and rubbing it off with a cloth is probably quicker than using a pen! I considered doing it that way but decided I wanted him dirty.
