Generations Air Raid

This is the first in a Generations/Classics Superion I want to do. I did Air Raid first because his alt mode is the closest to a Generations Seeker and a repaint would be easiest on him. Only trouble I have painting this mold are all of the tight places where the paint rubs....where the feet swing down, where the fists pull out, where the rear wings slide over the outside of the legs and lock into place...etc. And, even though I used a lot of tape to make the lines nice, it is very hard to paint the cockpit, as the crossbeams are soooo thin...almost too thin to keep tape on them as I spray the windows...But, I like him! I hope you guys do too!

As far as a straight repaint goes, I like it. Nice job!

Very nice! Wish I'd thought of it first!

The canopy framing is tough, and honestly, to better match a real F-15 you could have just painted over them.

Now, what are you going to do for the rest of the Aerialbots? With a bit of work a ROTF Dirge could make a nice Slingshot...

Thank you!! I plan on making all 4 of the smaller Aerialbots with this mold, just repainting, and then try and combinde them with Classics Silverbolt...

Looks very good!
I had a 3 Acid Storms at one point and was thinking of doing this but it never happened.
One idea all though a pricey one, are you familiar with the Classics Star Scream Coronation set? It has these 2 pieces that allow slightly more movement for the wings, allowing them to go back a bit. Would definitely lend to making them more like their cartoon selves. For 4 sets you'd probably be looking at $100.
It may even be a piece that you could make your self with left over pieces of plastic and small screws.
Anyway just a thought.
Otherwise looks great! Really nice work!!!!

A thought for more accuracy?

What about using Movie Decepticon Jetblade / Dirge repaint for SLINGSHOT as that would be the same mold

And upcoming Transformers Prime (Starscream) as SKYDIVE? as they would both be F-16's?

Might be a thought? Your set looks very good though. I wish I had the talent to make a custom combiner.

Here is a pic of the ones I'm talking about. But either way, I wish I had that kind of talent. Awesome job.
