Ever feel like having 3 huge blades on you, literally, in case you run into some Decepticons, literally? Sideswipe knows the feeling, so he had a Human armorer modify his alt mode to allow his arms blades to be used to make his point. As it were.







I call it Trident mode because he has 3 blades out. Any baddie that gets past the two forward blades will tumble over-top and get the center blade. Ouch time.

I did a lot of simple chaving and trimming to make this work, mostly at the inside of the base of each arm blade. I also trimmed a bit of the space where the shoulder tucks into in alt mode so the whole wheel/blade assembly can move back slightly when the blade come out. Compare the left (left side of the pic) vs the right shoulder portions and how far they tuck in:



Hard to see, but it makes a difference, the front wheel doesn't have to stick out as far because the shoulder tucks in further. I also popped up the hood and door sections bec. I think it looks cool. I'm thinking of tucking a little gun into the space under the front of the door section, where it meets the hood panel.
