Custome classics Red Alert

I had an extra red alert and thought about customizing him into Sunstreaker. then graciously a member here offered me a sunstreaker for a good price. So the guys in the thread suggested I customize Red alert into something new and made up in my mind, so i gave it a shot.

I am very new at customizing so there will be flaws but just thought I'd share what i came up with. I am a die hard Kawasaki fan so i thought colors representing Kawasaki would be cool. I have no name for him yet. I do have a bio in mind but could use help with a name. He is obviously a decepticon. Well here is the fruit of my labor.

I do realize there is a gap in the rear and that is because i accidently painted the peg. That will be fixed soon. I also forgot to put his tail pipe on for pics but i can add other pics later. any criticism is welcome. I want to get better,

Sorry, I always assumed everyone here was members of both sites. I'll quit being lazy and post my pics. :D

My only "criticism" would be is that it looks like the black is a little heavy in some places. Could just be the camera though.

But I love that green!

No ideas for a name but when you do get one I can't wait to read the bio.

Would it be better if i did the roof green? or are you talking about black in other areas? Now that i look at it, i think it would look better with a green roof.

Nope. The black breaks it up nicely. I'm thinking it's just the camera but the roof and weapon bit seem heavy.

The green is seriously great. The head just needs... Something. Dunno, some silver detailing... Maybe red? Something.

Love the classic green, I think a black stripe across the side panels and detail painting the louvers on the top/rear of the car to break up the color, add that extra pinch of variety. :D
Your painting is great, the black looks somewhat wavy/ thick, I suggest (of its not just the camera) that you sand it with some high grade sandpaper and do one more thin coat to even it out. ;)

Nonetheless, it's a good looking custom and you should continue learning the craft!

Thanks for the kind words guys. I'll take the advice about trying to make the black look better and seeing if I can add a little more detail to the head and see what I can come up with.

uum... Wasp? OilSlick? Crumplezone?
Anyways, nice, if not, like everyone else said, a bit hard on the black. Still, all in all, a nice custom, one to keep, not sell. Definantly a keepsake of the radioactive variety...
Radiosake? KeepActive?
ok that last one sounds like an add for staying fit...
I'll shut up now....
