"Optimus..." Seriously..that's it? Really laughing my ass off just thinking about that. Did I miss out any of his other conversations or was it really just one word for a renowned Decepticon villain.

In anycase, I was really impressed by his cold nature. I felt that it was depicted pretty well in the movie. Cold and calm. ANd where did he get that cybertron driller from anyway?

Well, introducing my version of Shockwave. Shockwave was painted in a special blend of mystique purple. And if you pay close attention, I had to change my camera white balance to 'daylight' in order to capture this strong mystique shade. ANy other modes of white balance will render his purple a dark blue. However, the camera was still not able to capture the true shade of the mystique purple. It looks fuller with more depth in real life.

Some features of Shockwave include:

- Sanded and filed for texturing
- Mod swapped his 2 hands so that it looks more pleasing with the screws facing back (very troublesome mod)
- Custom blend of mystique purple with numerous detailings

I like it for the most part, but I personally think he would look better with a glossier purple. And the red and blue highlights are too bright, I think. But maybe it's just the camera? But oh well; Don't let me tone down your pride for a custom figure. That's just my take on it. Still looking pretty spiffy, though!

P.S. Haha I also thought his one line in the movie was pathetic. The teaser trailers set him up to be a super bad ass villain and then Sentinel seems to have taken that roll. I feel like he was a waste of cgi rendering. I still love him from g1 though. Wow i'm gonna stop now this post is gettin' really long
