The Energon Pub

Here is a pic of my Runamuck (work in progress.)This is my first custom figure ever.

I used a Generations Red Alert body and a RotF Gears head. (I have an extra Gears head and ordered a ko Deep Cover black Lamborghini to make a Runabout)
I plan on re-skinning the chest and leg panels with some styrene for a sleeker look. I might try redoing the paint; it got a little clumpy. I wonder if there is a trick to paining on this testors model paint other than using an airbrush. Do I just need to thin it out with something first or is there an acryl flow medium type product I could get?
