Hello, all! Finally got my new camera so I could take pics of these without them turning into balls of fuzz. I loved the first round of Human Alliance, but the DOTM line has me slightly underwhelmed, especially with human names. After about a minute I brainstormed the obvious: goodbye, NEST, and Yo Joe! My fat fingers,shaky nerves, and eye strain threatened to derail this project on several occasions, but I pushed on and came up with something I'm very pleased with, even if it's not perfectly as I envisioned it. Future HA deluxes will get the same treatment. The Wreckers I'm not sure about at this moment, but something will present itself.

Up now: a COBRA Snow Serpent with Icepick. At first this guy was going to become Cobra Commander. Then I realized that as nuts as CC is, he's not so dumb as to throw himself into open combat. Then I remembered the Snow Serpent troopers and decided that naturally made more sense. I had a feeling something was missing on him right before I took the pictures, so I added the "fur" collar on the jacket. I think this is the HA figure I'm the most pleased with, even if he's just a cannon fodder character for COBRA. I did notice something during the painting, however; "Chaos" and "Spike" got their arms mismatched at the factory. If you have these figs, check the elbow pads on them. The right and left arms don't match.

Looks Great! First thing that came to mind with the first pics of HA scout figs was GI Joe crossovers. What you could do with one of the wreckers is the Dreadnocks battle vehicle.

That could have possibilities. I wanted to keep them as Autobots, but that's a tempting concept, I'll admit. I had thought about making Backfire and Spike a Dreadnok combo for a while.
