DMK OP Plan B: Gloss Spray, but Tamiya only has Semi-gloss?!

Ditched the wax idea, and am switching to more conventional means to give OP's armor/kibble that movie CG bling.
Tamiya paints are by far the easiest for me to get my hands on, but strangely the line does NOT carry gloss clear spray! Only flat or semi-gloss! WTF?!
They do have something called X-22 clear which comes in a bottle that's supposed to be either used with an airbrush or hand-painted. I'm not sure if that's glossy enough for my needs.
My non-Tamiya options are pretty limited here, as I can only find Krylon clear or Pylox 128 gloss clear spray over here.
Any advice on which of the three I should use?
