been stewin on this project for a long time. Finally starting to see it come to fruition. Taking the dale earnhardt jr "Roadbuster" and using it for a trio of decepticon wreckers! Much more to go but it's coming along nicely. Alot of custom weapons in the works!





Like i said its a WIP, I have to go through and touch up some of the greenI missed and finish the drybrushing and work on the new head sculpt..Just wanted to get it out there..

There really isnt a whole lot to this guy other than the decals im making and the custom weapons.One being a real metal chain type mace weapon and some various machine guns. I figured since they were nascar themed i would try and keep them as close to stock as i could which is why im gonna use the roadbuster mold. I figured I could weaponize them and create armor from model kits. Also to keep the trip in theme with Crankcase im gonna hopefully keep them all a dark color..

Update.. Dry brushing the legs and a test shot on a new head..from ROTF Blazemaster..Not for sure if I like it ..Used some blue masking tape to get the head to stick for now just for mockups..Going to start on the mace weapon and the rest of his arsenal tomorrow!!

Small update( pics to follow)

Finished touching up some of the paint I had missed during spray work. Dry brushed the frame with a mix of Mithril silver and boltgun metal. Scrapped the Blazemaster head in favor of a new one( revealed soon) Sprayed the weapons and started on the mace weapon. Also painted some of the bot mode paneling with a red gore paint from GW( looks pretty cool).

Next up is the fabrication of the armor paneling using a model kit from eardl( perfect size. )So far the project is taking alot longer than I had expected. Depending on how he finishes will determine if I do the other 2..

Ok finally made some progress! This project has been an advaneture in terms of ideas being thrown around and eventually scrapped. Decided on a head and some exaggerated exhaust from a cybertron clocker. A few of the weapons( not pictured) are still on their way.
