Movie acurate ROTF Chromia
Posted: Mon Sep 19, 2011 11:11 pmMuch more fun: Remolded the whole chest, thining the lower part and reshaping the panels, added detail on the telescope joints from the chest to the hips(?), filled the gaps on the cheeks that made her look as is she had a mustache, and remolded/added many parts to make the alt mode to look just as a Suzuki B King, the model used on the movie:
- When thinning the lower chest, be careful not to carve too much, for there is almost no structure sustainig the pivot point, and it will break easily (one half broke, actually). Fill the inside as much as possible with epoxy to add strenght
- Try to make the details on the telescopic joints no too big, to avid interference with the alt mode.
- The bike in the movie had no mirrors, shoud i leave it like that?
- The exhaust are somewhat confusing, they change much form year to year, does anyone have idea which year is the right one?
