A custom transformers MP-10 OPTIMUS PRIME. This OPTIMUS PRIME Masterpiece is the new release from TAKARA. This an amazing figured to start with I do want to thank! Toy Nirvana for getting him to this past week; with minor complaint there few surprise I did encounter while taking him complete apart; piece by piece; he had two ratchet joints one at his legs attachments and knees; everything else is hold by it own friction. After playing with him for a couple hours realized that he need to get a full repaint to truly give him the MP status he deserved. Red and Blue metallic paint and painted his thighs and waist white to make him more homage to his cartoon colors; I also had tinted the window dark blue from the original windshield color. Thank you guys for stopping by and looking.. all comments welcome/

Wow, that is amazing. You actually had the very same idea I had. I got my MP10 yesterday and after a few hours just realized it could look beautiful with a new paint app. Any suggestions?

I'd be lying if I said it was anything less than awesome. Just as you said, that beautiful metallic paint job elevates it to true Masterpiece status.
I can't believe Takara actually has missing paint apps on an MP fig! The least they could have done was to give us clear red tail lights in OP's alt mode, instead of molded gray plastic. This ain't a deluxe toy. Well, at least the trailer has tail lights. I suppose they figured the truck itself wouldn't need that kind of detail since the tail lights would be hidden when combined with the trailer. But still....
Anyways, I digress.
Kudos for painting the blue parts in the combat deck as well, giving the whole package a more uniform look.
One question, though. Why did you leave that area under OP's chest panels in silver? It's nothing major, but it does look a little out of place. If you were going for a G1 cartoon/anime look, it should be white like the legs and crotch.
Again, nothing major, but why did you choose to paint Roller dark gray? I think he[it?] was accurate in silver/metal.
All in all, a really fantastic custom, one that I wish I had the courage to attempt on my own MP-10. The most I'd dare to try is maybe color the tail lights and spray up the gray plastic ramp on the trailer.
BTW, is that Motormaster a custom too, or a 3rd party fig?

Love the choice of blue and red. It certainly does look way nicer.
A small point: his feet actually slide to the centre and tab together in truck mode.
