Before the Beast Wars
Posted: Sat Oct 22, 2011 4:50 amInspired by my love of the series as well as the Dawn of Future's Past Botcon set (which I never purchased because I didn't like the molds chosen for the characters personally), I created my own based mostly on molds from movie figures, some customized/kitbashed, others simply repainted and retooled slightly. I'm not the best painter, and while the figures look great in person, the pics reveal the flaws in my painting skills

For Cheetor, I used Cheetor (obviously) with some slight mods/paint apps.
For Dinobot, I used DoTM Comettor and the sword from Henkei Dinobot (which even fits in his alt mode as an antenna with some slight modification).
For Rhinox, I used HA Sandstorm.
For Tarntulas I kitbashed parts from HftD Backfire and HftD Brimstone.
For Rattrap I used parts from HA Thunderhead, BW Terrorsaur and BW Rattrap.
For Optimus Primal I used DotM Sky Hammer (head from Telemocha Optimus Primal).
For Megatron I used Titanium Megatron.
For Terrorsaur I used HftD Terradive.
For Scorponok I used 2007 Incinerator.
For Waspinator I used HftD Tomahawk.
