The Energon Pub

This is my first attempt at repainting a TF, I've touched up color here and there and added a wash on a few, but the first time I'm taking one apart and repainting it. When I got Prime I thought right away that this would make a much better Nemesis Prime than Optimus. Due to the size and stalker-ish nature of Nemesis I thought the size played well into the psychology of the character too so I started taking him apart.





Still waiting on my silver paint in the mail to start his silver areas, and still have to finish his arms, which aren't pictured, but also decided to paint his blue bits metallic blue which you can see on his abs, I also tried it out on his head, so if I get another of this Prime, I'll use that on his head and probably add more red to his black and silver areas where needed. Here's some shots of the head.

Head is painted.

Finished up with black and metallic blue paint, waiting on tamiya chrome silver to paint his grey parts, which should be here tomorrow, so he should be completed either tomorrow night or Wednesday night.

Just took a better pic and I'm not done with his black areas, you can see a little red in his backpack from the front, but he's mostly there.
