Cliffjumper - Porsche 924 Turbo

So the short story goes like this. This was a commission for a private client who requested a bot heavily influenced by g1 cliffjumper. I designed it to borrow from the vehicle the original toy was based off of with multiple points of articulation in the bot mode. The Porsche is in 1/32 scale which puts cliffjumper at about 5.25" tall (about 135mm). He comes equipped with guns based off of various episodes from the MTME and his idw's spotlight spear. This version was printed by shapeways in ultra detail and some of the internal components were printed in black/strong/flexible. Because most of him is printed in ultra detail, he's pretty fragile. He was painted with modelmaster acrylics and enamels, and tamiya paints. I still have some cleaning up to do and add some final touches. when I do so I'll give a full photoshoot with alt mode, action poses, group shots, etc. In the end, this was not what the client had in mind so cliffjumper will be sitting on my shelf with the rest of my bots. This is why i'm making these images public now. I would like to thank the client for some extremely valuable experience and best wishes.

Disclaimer: Please refrain from making any comments or questions regarding the private client. Please keep comments and questions about the piece itself.

Looks alot like that 3rd party version we were going to get. Hey, are you going to upload this to shapeways so anyone can buy it and assemble it? Just curious. It's an awesome piece though. I don't know about the client, and I wont inquire, but if it were me, Id'e be all over that figure in a heartbeat!

Well, even if the client didn't like it, it still looks GREAT! Pardon my stupid, but does he transform, too?

Ah dammit, does that mean you didn't get paid? Oh well, you got a decent looking robot for your collection. I look forward to seeing the full photo shoot.

Looks great. Does it have an alt mode version, or just stays in robot mode for display?

hey guys thanks for the comments. :) Just to answer a few questions.
I can't and won't comment about anything regarding the client- sorry about that. He does transform and I'll have more images once I touch up a few areas. Currently he will not be available for ordering from shapeways or any place else and probably will never be available. It's too expensive to print, the materials are too fragile and too many legal issues for me to get involved in.
Duann, I'll send you a PM.
thanks guys.

That's an amazing piece, truly.
If only a 3rd party would hire you.

Wow... looks great in every mode and from every angle. Do you know how HARD that is to accomplish!!?? Huge props. You really should pursue a 3rd party company to make this thing. Till then, I'll enjoy the pics my friend. Thank you sincerely for posting them. Cliffjumper was my first transformer and will always have a special place :D
