Turning Xovergen Grand Patriot to Pyro
Posted: Mon Jun 11, 2012 8:06 amAfter really taking a look at Xovergen Grand Patriot I couldn't help but notice he felt a lot like pyro in both alt mode and botmode (an OP impersonator).
So it became my goal to to turn my Xovergen Grand Patriot into Pyro.
For bot mode all I did was paint the head with a pinkish color to make him look similar to his European version.
(I wanted to make sure it was clear it wasn't just OP.
His trailer is still a WIP.. I was fortunate enough to find someone (benclark1982) willing to part out their Green Grand Patriot, and let me buy the trailer off him! So I did!
Now I still plan to turn the blue grand patriot trailer into a pyro trailer, but only using stickers so it can be reversed.. However the green one was fair game.
I still need to clean up the yellow and add a few more paint details (on the exterior) and then do a full paint of the interior... But I was so excited I just wanted to share!
I am waiting for some hazard tape to arrive, I will be adding a little to the outside of the trailer in order to get those G1 Stripes he had, just not so gaudy.
